New web site info
Welcome to the new Department of Psychology web site. Besides the obvious graphical makeover the site received, its underlying structure has changed greatly as well. The HTML is now much cleaner and more compact. In addition, extensive use was made of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to control the presentation (i.e., the look and layout) of the site. These changes will allow site modifications to be much easier to make and to manage in the future, besides having the added benefit of making the site much more accessible to visitors with different types of disabilities.
Great care was taken to make sure all links and pages were recreated properly from the old site. Nonetheless, some errors or omissions may have been made. If you come across a mistake, or feel something is otherwise in error, please send an email to webmaster@psych.colorado.edu. Other comments, criticisms, and suggestions are also welcome.
Things to note
The bar at the top of the page (“University of Colorado...”) is a required element of an official university web site. It must appear on every page of the site. Note that four links appear near the right margin of this bar, allowing direct access to different functions (e.g., search, a map, etc.) of the main CU-Boulder web pages.
In contrast, the footer on the departmental site contains links for local, departmental functions.
